My Netbook Reflection

Hi my name is Kapri Haumaha. I am a year 6 and I go to Panmure Bridge School. At Panmure Bridge School I am in Room 7. In Room 7 our teacher is Miss Miller. Before we had Miss Sayers but then she got married and then had a baby. Then we had Miss Miller. Miss Miller is cool because she helps us learn lots and helps us with our maths.

I have had my netbook since last year and my netbook helps me to do my learning like maths, and reading. I have my own netbook and I use my netbook to find all my information on. I have a password so no one can hack it. My netbook helps me to work faster than writing in a book.

Sometimes my mouse doesn't work and my my screen freezes. I am not allowed to download music and not allowed to download games. If I go on facebook or bebo then that will be against the law and then you will get in big trouble.

On my netbook I have been typing not writing with a pen or pencil and Instead of drawing on a piece of paper I draw on tux paint. Tux paint is like a paint board that you can draw and paint on. If I didn't have a netbook then I would be writing on a book with a pen or on the computer. My netbook has helped me heaps for these last two years.

My art reflection

My Ingrid Banwell Art Reflection

How well did I include the elements of Ingrid Banwell’s work?
I think I did well with my elements but I would like to put more elements in it.

Something I really like about my art is my white border is the same colour as my clouds and that all the colours in my picture suit my picture.

Something I would improve if I could is that I would put more chalk on so it can look even better.

My Kite Evaluation

  1. What I enjoyed about making my kite?
I liked drawing my shapes and stars on my kite to make it look colourful.
  1. What I like about my kite and why?
I liked my kite when I put the sting around the sides to make it shaped like a kite and I like the designs.
  1. What I do not like and would change about my kite and why?

I do not like my kite made out of paper and I would like my kite to be made out of plastic bags because when it rains the paper will get all soggy and then it won't be able to fly and if it was made out of plastic bags it will get wet but it will still fly.

My try kids Writing By Kapri

On Friday March 30th the school did try kids except me.  On Friday I didn't do try kids because on Thursday 29th of March I fell off the rings at the playground.  But I did do it on wednesday and thursday but not on friday.

But I watched our school do the try kids.  The people that organized it there name was: Mark, brian and brett. they had to do the slip and slide four times, ride the bike around two times and run around two times.  First they had to put on their helmets to make sure there straps to make sure they wouldn't of fell off their bike but first they had to chose their bike.  then they had to do the slip and slide.

The people put soap and dishwashing liquid on it.  When they were finished they were really slippery they had heaps of soap  on them.  Then they had to ride their bikes that they chose then they had to around the outside of the flags.  then you had to ride in between the white flags then you have to hop off your bike the park it up where you found it.

Then they had to run around the cones two times.  out of the boys patrick came first and out of the girls leenas came first.  when they were finished the race they got a eazypeazy drink but Yvette got me a eazypeazy drink.  The drinks were nice they taste like orange and honey.  I didn't have a great time doing it because but I had a great time watching it I hope they can come back and do it again it was fun but this time I won't break my arm so I can do the try kids and I really really hope that they come back.

My outcomes of bullying

Outcomes of Bullying

They would feel upset and sad.  She/he would also feel like she is the odd one out and she/he would feel frightened too.  If my friend was into a fight I would try and find a teacher and I would tell the teacher that my friend is having a fight and when my friend stops fighting the other person will not stop fighting then I would tell the teacher then the teacher would go and stop the fight. but if there was no teacher on duty I will run to the office and tell the teacher in the office.

At My Sisters House

On Saturday I went to my sisters house.  When I got there my sisters baby's were crawling to me.  Then we had  lunch. After lunch me and my niece had played hide and go seek.  Next we had dinner.then, after dinner we played spot light and it was fun because some of my cousins were there.

When it was getting dark we had to bed.  The next morning we had breakfast. Then we went for a walk to the beach.  I had to go home. when I left my nieces and nephews were crying for ages I had a great time at my sisters house.  I want to go back there next week but I have to go to school. I love my sisters house.
