This is a picture of the Duffy show. I really liked watching this show because it was fun they were really funny. They also did really funny faces. I like Duffy shows.

This is me playing on the stilts at the Howick Historical Village. I liked the stilts because they were easy to walk on and they were fun to play on.

This is another sumdog game that I have played. I have been getting all my questions right and have got nothing wrong. I love sumdog because you get to verse people and you get to have fun and also learn maths.

Dear Howick Historical Village

Thank you so much Mrs White, Mrs Hill and Mrs Hallam for letting us come to your museum and for letting us experience things about 1800 and 1900. We are thankful for the three of you for showing us the games, the toys and the houses. The first thing I’m going to talk about is the irons. I liked the irons because they looked fancy but my favourite Iron was the iron with the chimney.

I liked the iron with the chimney because the other two looked dangerous. The first iron was dangerous because if you put it on the fire and try to take it off you would get burnt because the whole thing was made out of metal. The second iron was dangerous too because the bottom was still metal but the handle was wood. That’s why I think the third iron is safer.

The next thing I’m going to talk to you about is the outdoor games. I wanted to talk about the outdoor games because they were fun to play. My favourite game was the stilts because they were easy to walk on and they were really fun to play on. I also liked the skipping ropes because we could play double dutch and also play with one skipping rope and the hardest game to play with was the skim and roll because I couldn’t control the toy.

The classroom was fun because Mrs White made me feel like I was in the 1800’s and it was a great experience for our whole school. I had a great day.

Goal Setting Term 3

Reading: This term I learnt: how to read a senior journal My reading goal for Term 3 is: To use more persuasive language in my reading and to do more summarising and put it into my own words To achieve my goal I will need to: Read faster and to do more reading.

Writing: This term I learnt: how to use oreo (opinion, reason, Explanation and opinion), how to do persuasive writing and how to unpack a recount and a narrative. My writing goal for Term 3 is to: do more writing and to also do more persuasive writing. To achieve my goal I will need to: write more in my own time and to write more narratives and recounts.

Maths: This term I learnt: How to do subtracting and adding, how to do fractions, how to do place value, how to do multiplication and also how to do percentages. My maths goal for Term 3 is: to learn more about percentages and also to do timetables in my maths. To achieve my goal I will need to: do loads and loads of times tables and to learn loads more about percentages.

Personal: This term I need to: practice reading books more in reading, Do more writing in my own time and in class and to learn about percentages in maths. My personal goal for Term 3 is: to do more writing in my spare time, To do more maths in my spare time and to do more reading in my spare time. To achieve my goal I will need to: work on trying to finish my work in writing, reading and maths because it is important to finish all of your work.

Floorplanner

This is my floorplanner that I have made about my future classroom. In my floorplanner I have four tables with a bowl of fruit and a roast chicken on each one. I put a roast chicken and a bowl of fruit  on tables because if the children are hungry in class they would be able to go and eat while they listen to the teacher. I put two class pets in my classroom, I put a guinea pig and a aquarium because when the children have lunch they will be able to play with the class pets. I also put a cupboard by the wall so the class things can be in the cupboard and on top of the table there are laptops and when they are finished they can have free time. Thanks for looking at my floorplanner, I hope you have learn't heaps.

WHO:Police, the man who died Nigel David Spackman, 34, and the emergency services.

WHERE: It happened in North Canterbury, Waiau Road

WHAT: A man was killed in an industrial hedge cutting accident the emergency service was called to the scene where the accident happened, he had suffered serious head injuries from walking into the hedge clipper well the blade was still operating.

10 Fast Fingers

This is my new high score on ten fast fingers. I have been trying to beet my high score for ages but i couldn't and then the next thing I noticed was that I have made it up to my record.

Rags to Riches

This is one of my highest scores on the compound sentence test. I have been trying to make it up to 1,000,000 but I couldn't. Why because from 200 to 2,000 it's all simple but 2,000 and up it could be anything because it starts to get harder and harder.
